Cube brand assets

Logos, naming, and usage guidelines for Cube — for press, partners, and anyone writing about the product.

Naming

One brand, two products. Getting the names right is most of the guideline.

Cube

The agentic analytics platform, built on a semantic layer. This is the product, the company shorthand, and the default name in writing. Always capitalized, always one word.

Cube Core

The open-source semantic layer at the foundation of the platform, Apache 2.0 licensed. Use it when writing specifically about the open-source project.

Cube Cloud

The commercial platform, named explicitly. Use it only when you need to distinguish the platform from Cube Core in the same sentence — otherwise, it’s just Cube.

It’s Cube — not CUBE, cube, or Cube.js. The .js suffix was retired in 2022, though it still lingers in a few package names.

Colors

The logo uses exactly two colors. Click a value to copy it.

Ink
White

Usage

Use the files as provided

Don’t recolor, distort, outline, or add effects. The logo is monochrome by design — ink on light backgrounds, white on dark ones.

Give it room to breathe

Keep clear space around the logo at least the width of the cube mark. Make it big or small, but don’t crowd it.

Dark mode is its own artwork

The dark-background logo is a separate rendition, not a recolor of the light one. Use the matching file instead of inverting.

Don’t imply endorsement

Don’t use the Cube name or logo as part of your own product identity, or to suggest a partnership that isn’t in place.
