We believe that every company ought to be data-driven so people can make informed decisions. To get there, data needs to be available and consistent not just for developers—but also for analysts and general business users. This requires bringing Cube into the tools where these users already work: namely, business intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Superset, and Power BI. This also requires making the data available to interactive exploration in data notebooks such as Jupyter, Deepnote, and Hex.
In this workshop, we will discuss how Cube’s updated SQL API makes our headless BI platform available to users of every BI application and data notebook.
Agenda topics for the workshop will include:
- Cube's SQL API overview
- Working with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Superset, etc.)
- Working with data notebooks (e.g., Deepnote, Hex, etc.)
- Getting the best experience with data modeling and caching
- Future plans
- Q&A
