We are focused on developer success, bottom-up adoption, and open source. Cube.js, our flagship open-source product, has 11,000 stars on GitHub and 4,000 developers in the community Slack. Cube.js is used by companies ranging from Apple, Intel, and Walmart to fast-growing Silicon Valley startups. Currently, we are a 20-person remote-first team distributed over the US, UK, and Europe with an HQ in San Francisco. Having raised our Series A in July 2021, we're funded by top-tier Silicon Valley venture funds that have previously invested in Redis, Hazelcast, Gradle, and other infrastructure software startups. We want to make sure that every developer building data applications with Cube.js has the best experience possible. To do so, we engage with developers on Slack, GitHub, and Slack Overflow to answer their questions and help resolve their issues. Then, we analyze these issues and create recipes for frequent use cases. In the end of the day, we provide insights and advise the Product team how to enhance the product and ensure developer success. We want to invest more in developer experience. That's why we're seeking a Developer Experience Engineer to join our Developer Relations team. In this role you will Contribute to Cube.js developer experience Talk to developers and help resolve their issues on Slack, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other channels Create content and explore other self-serve ways to help developers succeed Be the voice of Cube.js developer community inside the team, provide insights and propose features to the Product team The ideal candidate has experience with SQL and JavaScript. Exposure to databases, cloud platforms, and Docker is desirable. Background in QA or solution engineering is a plus. We work remotely and provide unlimited PTO.
